Eagle Raceway, America’s Home Track, announces the arrival of “EagleVision”
Eagle, NE -- May 24, 2006 -- Today Roger Hadan of Full Throttle Entertainment announced that “EagleVision”, a two story tall by nearly three stories wide Sony Jumbotron, will make its debut at the speedway this weekend.
The actual dimension of the massive video display is 20 feet tall by twenty six feet wide with nearly 450 square feet of advertising space completely surrounding the view screen. Fans attending this weekend’s races will experience first hand a whole new dimension to what is already the premiere dirt short-track racing program in the area. With the installation of the Jumbotron, Eagle Raceway becomes just the second dirt oval in the entire nation known to have a large scale video wall device.
“This is truly a quantum leap forward in fan entertainment and a whole new opportunity for our sponsors and advertisers”, Hadan said. When specifically asked what content would appear on the Jumbotron, Hadan turned evasive. “We have numerous, numerous things planned for EagleVision throughout the course of our racing season. We have uses for the Jumbotron whichwill appeal to all facets of our fan base, sponsors, race teams, and anyone who may be new to our racing program. I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises we have planned for later down the road, so all I can really say is that there will be new forms of entertainment added throughout the course of the season. In fact, we have so many upgrades and enhancements planned for Eagle Raceway that we may very well run out of race season before we get them all implemented.”
EagleVision makes its maiden voyage this Saturday during Heidelbergs Sports Bar Fan Appreciation Night. The front gates open at 5:30 pm with racing action set to begin at 7:00 pm.
Admission for all ages is only $5 with children 5 & under free. Eagle Raceway is located 12 miles east of Lincoln, NE (2 miles east of Eagle, NE) on U.S. Hwy. 34 ('O' Street) or 11 miles south of Interstate 80, exit 420, at the intersection of Nebraska Hwy 63 and U.S. Hwy 34. We’ll see you at Eagle Raceway, America’s Home Track!
