BCM 5-12-2006 Results

Wergin & Cudly win While Saathoff, Dickes, and Nichols make it back to back wins

Fans braved the cold windy weather in order to watch the third night of racing at Butler County Motorplex. The night of racing began with the Limited Late Model heats. Tad Pospisil took the early lead in heat number one of the Grand National division. Travis Dickes took the lead on lap two and went on for the win. Les Siebert finished second with Tad Pospisil third and Marty Steinbeck fourth. Heat number two found Bob Milander taking the lead and the win. Mike Marushak moved up to finish second followed by Jim Johnson and Beau Sheffield.

Mike Stearns controlled the first of three IMCA Modified heat races leading from start to finish. Scott Bivens came in second with Bob Zoubek and Chris Alcorn rounding out the top four. Brent Schlake led the first lap of the final heat race but then Jason Gaver took control and the win. Schlake held on for second as Jason Harms and Aaron Pella completed the top four.

Doug Adamy grabbed the lead in the IMCA Rehmer Auto Parts Stock Car heat race. Adamy continued his lead until the final lap. Eric Rempel took the lead and the win with Josh Carpenter second, Doug Adamy was third and Mike Nichols fourth.

IMCA Hobby Stock driver Ryan Rochewski took the lead in heat number one and continued his lead until the white flag lap as Nick Topil took control of the race. Topil got the win as Rich Small finished second, Brian Cudly third and Rochewski was fourth. Brandon Kresha controlled the second IMCA Hobby Stock heat race from start to finish for the win. Murray Haugen II took second followed by Ron Allen and Pat Huggins.

Brandon Wergin controlled the Hornet heat race for the win. Chuck Wergin was second, Josh Gembica third and Austin Brauner fourth. Brandon Wergin also led the Hornet A feature from start to finish as Chuck Wergin followed in second place. Josh Gembica was third and Austin Brauner fourth.

The IMCA Hobby Stock A feature found Ryan Rochewski taking the early lead. Rochewski continued his lead until lap number ten as Brian Cudly took control of the race for the win. Duane Schroeder moved up to finish second, Rich Small was third and Shane Hiatt fourth.

Josh Carpenter took the lead in the IMCA Rehmer Auto Parts Stock Car division A feature. Eric Rempel took the lead from Carpenter on lap number two. Rempel continued his lead until lap number eleven as Mike Nichols moved to the lead and took the win. Rempel finished second, Josh Carpenter third and Doug Adamy was fourth.

Grand National driver Bob Milander grabbed the lead in the feature. Milander continued to lead until lap number fifteen as Travis Dickes made his way to the front. Dickes continued for the win with Milander second, Les Siebert third and Jim Johnson was fourth.

Todd Topil took the lead in twenty-three car IMCA Modified feature. Topil continued until lap nine as Scott Bivens took the lead. Next lap Topil regained the lead but Johnny Saathoff moved into the lead on lap number fifteen. Saathoff got the win with Todd Topil in second, Scott Bivens third and James Kleinheksel finished in fourth.
