Our Loss is Their Gain!

Our Loss is Their Gain!

On July 1st, 2006, Gary Dominguez of Woods Bros. Realty and Ron Tegtmeier of Uncle Ron’s will be embarking on a program to help children with life-threatening medical conditions, and have some fun losing weight as well.

Gary is an associate of Woods Bros. realty, and has served the Lincoln and surrounding area for 16 years. He is active in the auto racing community, and founded Midwest Racers Autograph Day in 2001.

Ron is the owner and founder of Uncle Ron’s Wild West Saloon located at 340 West Cornhusker Highway in Lincoln. He has founded several successful businesses in the Lincoln area, and is no stranger to giving back to his community. Most notably his annual Christmas Benefit in early December that provides Christmas gifts to Cedars Home for Children .

During the month of July Ron and Gary will be losing weight, and taking pledges on a “per pound basis”. People can pledge an amount per total pounds lost.

For example: Gary loses 20 lbs. + Ron loses 20 lbs. = 40 lbs. total loss. X A person has pledged $.10 per lb. =$4.00 total pledge. Pledges will be billed August 1, 2006 after the final “weigh in”. Alls checks and money orders to be made payable to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska. Proceeds to benefit children in the State of Nebraska.

All proceeds collected will be donated to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Nebraska, an organization that grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
