ASCS 360's added to 410 Non-Wing show at I-80

Greenwood, NE (July 20, 2005) – An explosive night of sprint car action is on tap when the 410 O’Reilly Sprint Bandits Tour N’ Topless Sprint Cars and the ASCS Midwest Region 360 Sprint Cars invade the 4/10ths mile oval at I-80 Speedway at Nebraska Raceway Park Tuesday night, August 15th. This is the first time ever that the two groups will appear together on the same night and offers sprint car fans a double dose of wingless and winged sprint car racing.

“We’re pleased to be able to put this together for our fans and the drivers” said Promoter and General Manager Tom Gutowski. “Last year’s Sprint Bandit race really had the fans excited and adding the ASCS Midwest Region 360 sprints will make a great event even better. We’ve already heard that some drivers are planning to run in both classes” he added.

Also running that night will be the Trail Performance / Trade Center Automotive 305 winged sprint cars and the Tobacco FREE Nebraska Pro Hornets in a non-point event for their class plus trailer races.

“Our 305 sprint car class is just getting off the ground but has already helped young rising stars like Jack Dover step up to the 360 sprints and be successful” Gutowski said. “The Pro Hornets 4 cylinder cars have really blossomed into an exciting class to watch and the racing has been close” Gutowski added.

The pit gates will open at 4:30pm and the grandstand gate opens at 5:30pm. Hot laps are set to begin at 6:45pm with racing at 7:30pm. Adult grandstand admission is $20.00, students age 11 thru 17 and seniors age 62 and over will be $15.00 and kids 10 and under will be admitted FREE. Pit passes will be $25.00.
