Hudson claims NAPA bonus cash

RED CLOUD, NE (August 17)-Jerry Hudson of Kensington, KS, not only won the IMCA
Hobby Stock feature Friday night, August 17, at The Speed Bowl in Red Cloud, NE, but
picked up an additional $250 as well as it was NAPA Auto Parts Night at the Races
for that division.

It was also Hudson's second win of the season at the 3/8-mile oval. Rocky
Zimmerman finished second, followed by Jim Buss, Jeromy Wagner and heat one winner
Mike Shriver. Pat Hersh rolled his car but did escape injury. Hudson won the
other heat race.

Like father, like son as Kensington's Josh Hudson won his fourth IMCA Stock Car
feature. Hudson was first to the checkers, followed by Matt Streit, Brett
Behrends, Lance Borgman and heat two winner Jason McCartney. Brant Beam won the
first heat.

Hometown driver Lonnie Schriner continued his dominance in the IMCA Modified main
event as he scored his 8th win of the year at 'The Bowl.' Brandon Blochlinger, Jon
Thompson, Lance Borgman and Devon Housh rounded out the top five. Heat race winners
were Borgman and Dusty Blake.

Adam Sidlo & E.J. Kothe of Hastings won their ninth Cruiser main event as they beat
heat race winners Joe & Jim Carter of Russell, KS, to the finish line.
Andy Sole of Nelson claimed victory in the 4-cylinder Young Gun feature, his 8th of
the year. Sole also won the heat race.

Championship night will wrap up the 2007 season at The Speed Bowl next Friday,
August 24. Race time is 8:00 p.m.
