I-80 Needs your help

For those sprint car fans, and race fans in general, NRP needs your help after suffering storm damage. Friday's races at Little Sunset and Soaring Edge are canceled, as are Saturday's races. The decisions on Sunday and Tuesday's Wingless 410/ASCS show have yet to be made.

Message Board - dirtdrivers.com: "NRP is looking to purchase or rent some small office trailers to temporarily replace some of the outbuildings at the track. (The pitshack at Little Sunset is one of those that needs replacing). Also needed is a 14-18 foot office trailer (definetely not larger than 18 ft) that could be used as a front gate ticket booth.

Also needed: tables, bar stools and large window air units for the ticket trailers. If anyone is cleaning out their garage...keep us in mind! When the front gate ticket shack was destroyed, and the I-80 pit ticket shack moved 15 feet, all of the stool and tables inside were broken. (And Don & Ron's windows were busted out so now they can't close them on you!)

They also are looking for a mobile home to replace Doug's.

Cleanup will start at the track tomorrow between 9am and 10am, and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hornet drivers: Tommy said none of the cars were turned over, and none looked physically damaged. The #19 was apparently on jacks, but is now on the ground but upright.

If you do go to the track, they are asking you to stay on the roads, and to be very careful. It is very muddy, and parts of the parking lot have been washed away. There is no power out there so there will be no lights once it gets dark."
