I found this interesting and insulting. NBC solicited some Muslim men and used them as plants at the Martinsville race, ostensibly to see if the fans would insult the individuals.
According to the AP story (linked below), the NBC crew was “apparently on site in Martinsville, Va., walked around and no one bothered them,” NASCAR spokesman Ramsey Poston said Wednesday.
By the way, NASCAR and NBC are in the final year of their television contract.
Hint to NBC: if you want to make people mad, make your plants wear Jeff Gordon t-shirts next time (just kidding)
