Brown tops I-80 Spring Sizzler

A big 68-car field on a cold April night kicked off Sprint car season in Nebraska Saturday.

BROWN TAKES SPRING SIZZLER ASCS/NCRA FEATURE AT I-80

"The American Sprint Car Series Midwest and Northern Plains along with the NCRA came to I-80 Speedway on Saturday night and once again Brian Brown went home with a victory. Brown started 6th in the 25 lap feature and watched as Dustin Lindquist grabbed the early lead. Brown moved to 2nd on lap 3 and began to plot a way to overtake Lindquist. Lindquist survived several restarts in the race and held Brown back until the 22nd lap. Brown took the lead with a neat slidejob and managed to survive a late challenge by Chuck Swenson."
