2006 FASTRACK PICTORIAL, THE TOPLESS ISSUE, NOW AVAILABLE

LINCOLN, NE - (April 9, 2006) - The 2006 Fastrack Pictorial, The Topless Issue, is hot off the press, jam-packed with 40 pages of exciting photos featuring the 2005 midget, sprint car, and silver crown season. This year marks the first time a midget has graced the cover of the Fastrack Pictorial, as Badger champ, Scott Hatton, is shown blasting through turn three at Angell Park in Sun Prairie, WI, during action last summer. Hatton joins past Fastrack cover boys, Sammy Swindell, T.J. Giddings, Jerry Russell, Russ Gamester, Joey Saldana, Steve Troxell, Lonnie Jensen and Lloyd Beckman.

As you may have guessed from the title of this year’s pictorial, the action is all topless, with nary a wing in sight. Although the Badger midget boys, with Hatton leading the way, grabbed the front page, USAC sprints are prominent, along with MSCS, KISS, Sprint Bandit TNT and USAC-CRA sprints getting much of the attention. Midget groups beyond the BMARA included are: USAC, Gateway Racing, Inc. and SMRS. Of course, what would a topless issue be without the USAC Silver Crown big cars, as they too are well represented, and as always there is a look back at the good old days, with a special page honoring Kevin Doty and Don Brown.

Some of the premier events covered are: the Chili Bowl, Indiana Sprint Week, Belleville Midget Nationals, Ultimate Challenge, Tony Bettenhausen 100, Hut Hundred, Ted Horn 100, Four Crown Nationals and Oval Nationals. Racing from such topless strongholds as Terre Haute, Sun Prairie, Paragon, Lawrenceburg, IRP, Eldora, Putnamville, Perris, Bloomington and a host of other venues are featured on each page.
