Little Sunset Test & Tune April 21

Little Sunset Speedway - dirtdrivers.com:
From Mike Kelley

"Get ready to come out and play Friday April 21st! Bring out your ride and get ready for the 2006 season and see the newly reconfigured race track. April 28th will be the first race night. However, it will be for fun only. The OFFICIAL points championship season starts Friday May 5th.

The IKF Briggs & Stratton Midwest Speedway Tour will be at Little Sunset on May 12th and 13th.

A lot has been done off-season in an attempt to bring this track to a National event level. Hopefully, all the changes will provide an even better racing experience than last season.

The concrete frontstretch wall was moved back approx. 10 feet from the edge of the track. The exit off of turn two was widened and the dropoff on the backstretch was brought up to track level, with a flat surface approx. 15 feet wide protected by another wall. The staging area is EXTRA LARGE now as karts will now exit off the backstretch and to the right. The scale and tech area have also been moved.
See http://www.neracewaypark.com/LittleSunset/index.htm for schedule, classes, and rules info!!!

Tom Gutowski will be General Manager, I will be race directing, Daryl Weilage will be doing tech, and Dale Hoyle will be helping with track prep. We're looking forward to a GREAT 2006 race season, and the WKA event should be awesome!!

Details: Gates open at 6:00PM with practice starting around 7:30PM. Practice will cycle thru classes until at least 9:30. I will post the racer entry fee ASAP. "
