Next week, August 4th, Z92 and Jack Daniel's presents Sizzlin' August
Nights. This night will also be Mike Cacak Night at Eagle Raceway.
Mike has been a long time employee of Eagle Raceway and was involved with
Sprint Car racing for the years previous to his injury. He was a driver here
at Eagle Raceway and at many other area race tracks. Mike will have a long
road of recovery ahead of him and in an effort to help this giving person, a
"Mike Cacak Benefit Fund" has been set up at all Wells Fargo Banks for any
donations.
Also on August 4th, 50% of Eagle Raceway's profits will be donated to that
fund. There will be other events thoughout the night of racing to also raise
money for the fund. August 4th was chosen because Mike loves Wingless
Sprints and was institutional in the effort to bring the Wingless racing
back to Eagle Raceway. Mike is currently at the Madonna Rehabilitation
Hospital and is slowly improving daily.
