JMS Presents Late Model King of the Hill

Five busy nights of racing in seven days at Junction Motor Speedway have proceeded what the Fans are about to see next! From two weekly shows, two nights of National Midget racing and National Motorcycles last week to wondering who will be ‘KING OF THE HILL’ this weekend?

This Friday and Saturday- August 3rd & 4th….the Super Late Models head to Nebraska’s ‘Dirt Super Speedway’ in search of speed, glory and the coveted crown. Since opening nearly three full years ago, Late Model quests have been accomplished by a few. They include;

Kelly Boen picked up a win on Friday night along with re-taking the NCRA point lead away from Omaha’s John Anderson at Hutchinson, Kansas. Boen repeated with another victory Saturday night at Dodge City Raceway Park. Sunday’s Heartland Park-Topeka winner on the 3-day swing was John Anderson. He was followed by Coffeyville, Kansas driver-Al Purkey and Delbert Smith of Wichita.

MLRA point leader Alan Vaughn of Belton, MO brings a 40 point lead into this weekends Late Model event at Junction Motor Speedway. Jeremy Payne of Springfield, Missouri is second on the MLRA point roster.

Friday night’s Late Model feature will pay $2,000.00 to win and $400 to start the ‘A’ Main. Also competing on Friday evening are Cruisers and Holiday Inn short track Quad Rod 4 cylinders. Friday night pit passes are $25.00.

Adults: $10.00
Ages 6 to 12: $4.00
5 & under: FREE

Gates open: 5:30
Racing: 7:30

George Brothers Incorporated of Sutton, Nebraska will present this Saturday nights activity with the Late Model feature will paying $3,000.00 to win and $400 to start the ‘A’ Main. Also competing are Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks. Saturday night pit passes are $30.00.
