I-80 this weekend: Gold Rush and Bike Races

(GREENWOOD NEB., 06/28/07) As the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series hits the
dirt of I-80 Speedway for the first full weekend in July, all the attention
will be focused on the biggest kids weekend of the year thus far!

Saturday July 7, Stereo West Auto Toys presents the Kids Gold Rush Money
Grab. All kids 12 and under will make their way to the front straightaway
during intermission where hundreds of dollars in coins will be spilled
throughout the dirt of I-80 Speedway. Plus all Otoe and Washington County
residents will receive FREE grandstand admission with I.D. Gates open at
5:30pm with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:00pm. Grandstand admission is
$8 for adults, $7 for seniors (62 and older) and juniors (11-17), Kids 10
and under are FREE.

On Sunday July 8, Shopko presents the annual Kids Bike Races. Kids 12 and
under will take to the speedway for high paced bicycle action. Each age
division will have one kid walk away with a brand new set of wheels courtesy
of Shopko. Plus all adults will be entered in a drawing for a brand new
colored TV. Gates open at 5:00pm with hot laps at 6:00pm and racing at
6:30pm. Grandstand admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62 and
older) and juniors (11-17), Kids 10 and under are FREE.

Next weekend, Douglas County Residents with ID will be admitted free on
Saturday, July 14, and all Boys and Girls Scouts in uniform will be admitted
free on Sunday, July 15.
