Saathoff, Saathoff, Creek, Fralin, Watts and Meinke/Rosentreader take home Beatrice Wins

From Beatrice Speedway

After battling mother nature for a majority of the season Beatrice
Speedway finally got their 3rd night of the 2007 race season with a
large crowd, great car count and a very fast racing surface.

The racy surface was evident throughout each and every race of the night
with the fans being treated some of the best racing in recent years in
the heat races and the features.

Johnny Saathoff of Beatrice Took the top honors in the IMCA Modifieds
for the second straight week. He took his Toobies Lumber, Gibbs Place,
Speedway Motors, Pinnacle Bank, I-70 Auto Auction, Hair Graphics, Jr
Motorsports, Independent Equipment sponsored Jet Mod to the winners
circle after battling with Josh Carpenter for the majority of the
feature before winning by several car lengths at the checkered flag.
Carpenter, Greg Metz, Dan Nelson and Lance Borgman rounded out the front 5.

Gary Saathoff of Beatrice in his Filley Powder Coating, Rehm Transfer,
Helmet FX by Rod and Jet Racing sponsored Jet Mod too the win in the Jet
Racing Limited Modifieds by holding off a hard charging Craig Evers who
was gunning for his 3rd straight win of the 2007 Season. Evers, Mark
Saathoff, Nick Warnke and Tom Vanover JR completed the front 5.
Jeff Creek of Blue Springs took the win in the IMCA Sport Compacts
holding off the previous winner Scott Parde, Jacob Harms, Nathan Meyer
and Janie Fralin.

Matt Fralin of Beatrice took his Redline Race Graffix, Risky's, Lillian
Fritch Insurance, Ty's Tobacco Corner, Dempster's, The Rail Rocks, The
Buss Stop, Griffeth Transmission, Classic Auto Sales, RMF and Jet Racing
sponsored Demon Chassis to the win in the IMCA Hobby Stocks. He led Bill
Parde, Lee Beethe, Chad Borgman and Matt Bernhardt across the line.

Jeff Watts of Beatrice survived an early lap accident to take his 2nd
win in a row in his Vanwinkle Masonry, Weyer Repair, Van's Sandblasting,
Buss Real Estate, John's Muscle Cars, Circle D MFG, RMF, Buhr's
Trucking, Harms Farms, Scott's Tax Service, Schmidt Machine,
Poutre-Lauby Plumbing and Heating, Maxson's Barber and Beauty, Redline
Race Graffix and Jet Racing Sponsored Razor Chasis in the Reedy Machine
and Fab/Buhr Trucking Factory Stocks. He beat Tyler Phelps, Jeff Shew,
Neal Mittan and Adam Armstrong.

Darrin Meinke and Nathan Rosentreader took the win in the Cruisers. They
led Shawn and Shane Slezak, David Voorhees and Jeff Brumback, Jerad and
Aaron Little and Les Atkinson and Darcy Dobrovolny across the line.

Next weekend is the Beatrice Speedway Hall of Fame Night with all
classes racing and the Big Car Racing Assn making appearance also. Hot
laps at 6:00 pm and Racing at 7:00 pm.
