Blackbird Bend Speedway to close

Golden Racing Promotions, Inc is extremely upset to announce the Tribal
Council of Omaha has terminated our lease with Blackbird Bend Speedway.

As of Wed., June 20, 2007 we will no longer be affiliated with Blackbird
Bend Speedway or CasinOmaha. There are no future plans for the track at
this time that we are aware of. Reasoning for the termination of the
lease is not clear to us. We abided by all rules and regulations of the
lease.

Each week the tribal council would come up with something for us to
abide by, which we did. They are a hard council to please.

We have tried at great extent to satisfy these situations that they
brought forward and in attempting to contact the right people, they were
advised not to talk to us. It makes it hard to correct a situation when
you can't talk to the person you need to talk to.

We have been promoting area race tracks for 11 years. This was not a job
it was a hobby enjoyed by our entire family and staff. Most of our staff
has been with us from the beginning when we opened Interstate Speedway
in 1996. To all of you we say Thank You for being dedicated valued
friends. It is because of you that this is so hard to deal with.

Many of the drivers have raced with us for just as many years. Through
the years we have met and become friends with a variety of
personalities. To all of the drivers, the crews, family members and fans
we thank you for making our journey with us. We have many memories to
take with us. To first time winners, repeat winners, young kids driving
their cars for the first time, laughs with everyone and even being
yelled at for a call that was made. Bottom line, we enjoyed all of it.

Greg & Tina Golden, we are hanging up our promoting gloves and going
fishing. Maybe this was in the cards for us as today is our 11th
anniversary. We are trading one journey for another...RELAXING!!
Vacations that don't have to be arranged between Monday and Thursday.
Going camping on the weekends.

Thank You to everyone we have met throughout this journey.
