NCRA Late Model Speedweek Rolls into Junction Motor Speedway

PARK CITY, Kan. (June 21, 2007) – After just two events this season, the O'
Reilly NCRA Late Model Series, presented by ICM/Ethanol, will kick it up a
notch with a five-show Speedweek through the Fourth of July.

Their second stop will be Saturday June 30 at Junction Motor Speedway in
McCool Junction, a track that two-time defending series champion Kelly Boen
has done well at. The Henderson, Colo., driver has won the last five NCRA
events held at JMS over the past two years.

But Boen is still trying to shake off the affects of a scary crash in a
non-NCRA show April 28. He ran a strong second in the series' first event
this season, but another racing incident relegated him to a 21st-place
finish in the second show.

Delbert Smith, the 2001 series champion out of Wichita, Kan., won the
opener. He and Omaha's John Anderson are deadlocked for the top spot in the
standings.

Another former series champion, Kyle Berck, and Boen are close behind in
third and fourth, respectively. Berck, of Marquette, Neb., won the NCRA late
model crown in 2002. He is 30 points behind the leaders and holds a slim
five-point margin over Boen.

Nebraska drivers make up five of the remaining six positions in the top 10.
Corey Zeitner of Bellevue is fifth, Mike Wiarda of Aurora is sixth, Kearney'
s Bo Egge is seventh, Scott Daly of Elkhorn is eighth, and Omaha's Bill
Leighton is 10th. Only 95 points separate the top 12.

More than 30 drivers from the Cornhusker State have run with the series so
far this year. That list also includes 2006 NCRA Late Model Rookie of the
Year Steve Kempt from Shelton and Les Siebert of York.
