Greenwood, Nebraska (September 11, 2006) Due to the commitment to our racers and the Chase for the Championship, the owners of I-80 Speedway have announced double feature races will be held in all classes this weekend at I-80 Speedway to make up for the races cancelled during The Chase. The pit gates will open at 3:00 p.m., with hot laps at 4:30 p.m. and races starting at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th and Sunday, September 17th.
This Saturday, September 16th, Craftsman Tools presents the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Season Championship races in the Crate Late Models, Certified Transmission Pro Ams, B-Modifieds, Trail Performance/Trade Center Automotive 305 Sprints and Tobacco Free Nebraska Pro and Novice Hornets. The fans from Dodge County with I.D. will be admitted free to the grandstands at I-80 Speedway. Carload night has been cancelled due to this special event. Ticket prices for Saturday's events are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and kids ages 10 and under are FREE. The grandstands open at 4:00 p.m.
Shopko presents the conclusion of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series on Sunday, September 17th featuring the Dodge Super Late Models, Home Pride Pro Modifieds, Grand Nationals, and Stereo West Auto Toys Hobby Stocks. The Shopko Kids Bike Races will be held during intermission with the winner in the following age groups receiving a brand new bike: 2-4 years old, 5-6 years old, 7-8 years old, 9-10 years old and 11-13 years old. Admission on Sunday is adults $12, seniors and students $10 and kids 10 and under are always FREE. The grandstand gate opens at 4:00 pm.
The purse for the night in all classes will be approximately 160% for the combined feature races. Pit passes both nights will be $25 with a NASCAR license or a non-NASCAR class punch card, and minors under 16 years of age. All other non-NASCAR members pit pass will be $35. If the races on Saturday are cancelled due to rain, they will not be made up since they have one more week of racing in then the Sunday show. The rain date for the Sunday NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series is Tuesday, September 19th and will have double feature races in all classes.

Upcoming events at I-80 Speedway include the annual Cornhusker Classic on Friday, September 22nd and Saturday Sept 23rd featuring the WDRL Super Late Models and 5 other action packed classes.
The first ever Cornhusker Nationals and 3rd Annual Crash-O-Rams will be held on Saturday, October 7th. Fans get to see the Trail Performance/Trade Center Automotive 305 Sprint Cars, B-Mods and Tobacco FREE Nebraska Hornets, OVLRS Dwarf Cars, Wacky Trailer Races and Nebraska’s best paying 2006 Demo Derby all in one event and at one low price! The OVLRS Dwarf Cars will run their 5th Annual Open Wheel Classic.
Nebraska Raceway Park is located off I-80 at exit 420 between Omaha and Lincoln and is home to I-80 Speedway, the Little Sunset Speedway go-kart track and Soaring Edge Motocross Park.
