I-80 Cornhusker Classic Makeup Details

Greenwood, Nebraska (September 27, 2006) The owners of Nebraska Raceway
Park, along with the World Dirt Racing League (WDRL), have worked together
to schedule the Cornhusker Classic makeup race dates for Saturday, October
7th and Sunday, October 8th. During the Cornhusker Nationals on October
7th, the IMCA/CNCTA Late Models and Grand Nationals will join the
action-packed lineup of the Trail Performance/Trade Center Automotive 305
Sprint Cars, B-Mods and Tobacco FREE Nebraska Hornets, OVLRS Dwarf Cars,
Wacky Trailer Races, and Nebraska’s biggest Demo Derby of 2006. The
IMCA/CNCTA Late Models and Grand Nationals will run their A features and
last chance races from the Cornhusker Classic, and the OVLRS Dwarf Cars will
run their 5th Annual Open Wheel Classic. On Sunday, October 8th fans will be
treated to a complete WDRL show featuring a 50 lap main event, as well as A
features and last chance races for the Modifieds, Pro Stocks and Hobby
Stocks.

On Saturday the pit gates will open at 2:00 p.m., with hot laps at 3:30 p.m.
and racing starting at 4:00p.m. Wristbands from the Saturday night show of
the rained out Cornhusker Classic will be honored on a “one for one basis”
for a new pit pass. The full 2-day purse from the Cornhusker Classic will be
paid for the IMCA/CNCTA late model and Grand National classes.
Front gates will open at 2:30 p.m. and the price for admission that night
will be $13 for adults and $10 students. Those persons with a ticket from
the Saturday night show of the Cornhusker Classic may present their ticket
at the ticket booth and receive one ticket in exchange plus a $15 cash
refund. Kids ages 10 and UNDER are always free at I-80 Speedway.

On Sunday the pit gates will open at 2:30 p.m., with drivers meeting at 4:30
p.m. and racing starting at 5:30p.m. Wristbands from the Saturday night show
of the Cornhusker Classic that was rained out will be honored on a “one for
one basis” for a new pit pass. Cost of a new pit pass for Sunday night is
$30, and the full purse from the Cornhusker Classic will be paid in all
classes.

The Grandstand Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and the price for admission that
night will be $20 for adults and $15 for students. Those with a ticket from
the Saturday night show of the Cornhusker Classic may present their ticket
at the ticket booth and receive one ticket plus a $10 cash refund. Kids
ages 10 and UNDER are still admitted free.

Those fans and drivers that cannot attend the makeup races, can mail in
their tickets and wrist bands to I-80 Speedway Refund, 5040 I Street, Omaha,
NE 68817. Please be sure to include your name and complete return address
with your request.
Nebraska Raceway Park is located off I-80 at exit 420 between Omaha and
Lincoln and is home to I-80 Speedway, the Little Sunset Speedway go-kart
track and Soaring Edge Motocross Park. The Speedway hosts events weekly from

For more information the Omaha General Office can be contacted during normal
business hours Monday thru Friday, 9am-5pm at 402-342-3453. The offices will
be closed on Friday, September 29th.
