Greenwood, NE (September 10, 2007)- The 2007 NASCAR Whelen All American
Series at I-80 Speedway proved to be an exciting season of "first's,"
"finally's" and "once again's" as the season came to a close and 11
champions were crowned in 12 divisions.

In his first year back after an absence of many years in weekly racing,
53-year old Al Humphrey (#6) of Giltner, NE is the 2007 Dodge Super Late
Model Championship. This is Humphrey's first NASCAR track championship, and
first championship at I-80 Speedway. Humphrey posted one feature race win,
12 top five feature finishes, and 4 top ten finishes for the 2007 Sunday
NASCAR Whelen All American Series.

Earning his first NASCAR track championship in the Great Clips Crate Late
Model division is 29-year-old Jason Hobscheidt (#1) of Nehawka, NE.
Hobscheidt earned four feature wins, 7 top fives, and three top tens. He is
a member of the 2007 Total Performance Parts Rising Star Class.

After an eighth place finish in the 2006 Modified point standings, Matt
Richards (#1r) takes home the 2007 Modified Championship. With one feature
win, and ten top ten finishes, Richards won the NASCAR track championship by
four points. This is his first NASCAR championship.

In the Hobby Stock division, Jesse Sobbing (#99) went for the repeat as he
collected his second straight NASCAR Track Championship at I-80 Speedway. He
had five feature wins, five top fives, and three top tens. Sobbing also is a
member of the 2007 Total Performance Parts Rising Stars.

Winning his first track championship in the Ty's Outdoor Power Equipment Pro
Stock division wasn't enough for driver Shaun Bulin (#36), as he decided to
pair it up with the 2007 Certified Transmission Pro Am Division track
championship. Between the two NASCAR divisions, which feature the same type
of cars, Bulin earned two feature wins, 17 top fives, and five top tens.

After 18 years of racing, City Weekly Grand National driver Todd Hipnar
(#12) finally has a season points championship trophy to place on his
mantle. Hipnar also had his first feature win in seven years, and followed
it with four more. Ten top 5's and 3 top ten finishes round out his NASCAR
Whelen All American Series championship season.

Jared Hoefelman (#15h) is our next points champion, taking the Midas B Mods
trophy home. Hoefelman earned four feature wins, six top fives, and one top
10 win. He is the first NASCAR champion at I-80 Speedway in this division,
as this was the first year this class was sanctioned.

Also going into the history books as the first NASCAR champion of a division
at I-80 Speedway is 2007 Stereo West Auto Toys Pro Hornet driver Justin
Soule. He won the championship by 16 points, which also happens to be his
car number (#16j) Soule had three feature wins, five top fives, and three
top tens.

In the Stereo West Auto Toys Novice Hornet division, Alex Fink (#2) earned
his first track championship. He had three feature wins, six top fives, and
one top ten.

Ryan Gladwin (#J1) takes home the Track Championship in the Novice Crate
Late Model division. The driver, who had his 16th birthday during the
racing season had one feature finish and is a member of the 2007 Total
Performance Parts Rising Star class.

First time 305 Sprint (#99c) driver Nick Clifford had four feature wins this
season helping him to secure the Midwest Linings 305 Sprint Championship at
I-80 Speedway. He also is a member of the 2007 Total Performance Parts
Rising Stars.

Each of the champions will be honored on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the
I-80 Speedway Champions banquet.
