Carl Edwards at I-80 This Sunday

I-80 Speedway is proud to announce Carl Edwards Night next Sunday, July 13th. Thanks to our Midwest Ford Dealers, I-80 is honored to have Carl Edwards at our speedway. It will be an exciting night on Sunday as Carl races Ed Kosiski's car, taking on his brother, Kenny Edwards. You will be thrilled to see a NASCAR Sprint Cup Racer on our own 4/10 mile dirt track! Carl is no stranger to 1-80, this will be time number three for the NASCAR racer. In 1998, Carl was named rookie of the year when Ed Kosiski won the NASCAR Late Model Championship, and the two have been friends ever since. Joining Edwards will be Freestyle Motocross Superstar Kenny "The Cowboy" Bartram.

In the sport of racing, it helps to have a few friends along the way. "The sport of racing is much like a family," Ed Kosiski explains. "When you are out on the road, it's not very cheap, any little bit helps, I mean, I've had 14 guys stay at my house before!" I'm not sure if Carl will be staying on Ed's couch because he will be in Chicago the night before in the NASCAR Sprint Cup's Lifelock.com 400. We are so happy to have Carl as part of our family on Sunday night. We hope that everyone can make it out and be a part of it too!

So what would you do for a ride with Carl Edwards? Would you eat 100 tacos? Do 1000 pushups in front of everyone? Wow, that would be intense... Luckily for you though, all you have to do is go to your local Ford Dealership and grab a $5.00 off coupon for Sunday night. When you bring that coupon to the races next Sunday, we will throw it in a hat and pick 3 at random to go for a ride with Carl!

The entire weekend will be full of events; grab your camping gear and camp on Saturday night if you want! We will also be giving away NE Lottery Powerball Tickets and Gas Cards!
July 13th. Mark the calendar. Go to your local Ford dealer. Get ready for a night filled with some camping, fun, and excitement with loud, roaring engines, and of course, Carl Edwards. Hope to see you there!
