Heavy snow resulted in cancellation of what was to have been the
third and final Spring Nationals program of the weekend.
Scheduled for the Sunday show were IMCA Modifieds in a $2,000 to win
main event, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and IMCA Sport Compacts.
Ninety Modifieds were on hand for the 15th annual special, which had
seen Friday's opening night show postponed because of rain to
Saturday afternoon.
Twenty-two Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods ran in the two Saturday
shows. Thirty-six Hobby Stocks and 22 Sport Compacts were signed in
today.
