3 Nights of Excitement and Fireworks at I-80 Speedway this Weekend;
Little Sunset Speedway and Soaring Edge Motocross Park also in Action
Greenwood, Nebraska (June 28, 2006) Get ready for some exciting racing action this weekend as three days of racing and fireworks hit the 4/10ths mile oval this weekend at Nebraska Raceway Park. The Little Sunset Speedway go-kart track and Soaring Edge Motocross Park are also in action this weekend so there is definitely something for everybody to enjoy! The Checkered Flag Bar & Grill will be available after the races each night and FREE camping is also available throughout the season.
Friday June 30th Little Sunset off the action with weekly WKA racing and the new and exciting Champ (Cage) Karts introduced this season. If you�ve ever thought about getting you youngster into racing at an affordable price check out LSS on Friday night! Gates open at 6pm, hot laps at 7:30pm and racing starts 8. Grandstand admission is just $8 with 5 and under FREE. Pit passes are just $15 for the hot pit and only $10 for the rest of the pit area.
Saturday, July 1st features the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at I-80 Speedway and is also Saunders County Night at the races. Each Saunders County Resident will receive free admission with proof of I.D.! Ticket prices for Saturday's events are $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors and Students with kids age 10 and under FREE. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30pm and the racing action set to begin at 7:00pm. Fireworks will follow the racing action!
Also on Saturday, Soaring Edge Motocross track will present the Heartland MX Series that is off to a great start in it�s inaugural season averaging about 100 riders per event. Ticket prices for Saturday's events include $8.00 general admission and 5 and under FREE. Practice starts at 4:00pm and racing is set to begin at 6:00pm. The MX Park will be closed for practice on Friday so the crew can prepare the track for Saturday�s race.
Sunday, July 2nd features DOUBLE Dodge Super Late Model feature races, fireworks, and Military Appreciation Night at I-80 Speedway. All military personnel in uniform or with proof of I.D. and their spouse will get in the grandstands for free! Adults are $12, and Seniors and Students are $10 and Kids 10 and under are always FREE. On Sunday the pit gate opens at 4pm, the grandstand gate opens at 4:30pm, with hot laps at 6pm and racing at 6:30pm.
Monday, July 3rd will be the Lawrence Ideus Memorial Race featuring the ASCS Midwest Region Sprint Car Series and ASCS Northern Plains Region Sprint Car Series at I-80 Speedway plus fireworks! The Home Pride Modifieds, 305 Sprint Cars and Dwarf Cars will fill out the card for a great night of racing excitement. Adults are $12, and Seniors and Students are $10 and Kids 10 and under are still FREE. Monday the pit gate opens at 4pm, the grandstand gate opens at 4:30pm, with hot laps at 7pm with racing to follow.
