Beatrice: DeWalt and Vanlaningham claim first wins of 2006

Beatrice, NE (June 3, 2006) - Kevin Vanlaningham of Beatrice took the win in the Limited Modifieds at Beatrice Speedway to take home his first win of the 2006 race season. He held off Craig Evers, Justin Hill, Benji Legg and Bill Lux to round out the front 5.

Aron DeWalt of Blue Rapids, KS took the lead and ran away from the field in the IMCA Hobby Stocks to take the win over Chad Borgman, Greg Post, Justin Fritzson and Travis Runcie.

Todd Laflin of Beatrice took the lead from Hugh Carmichael late in the IMCA Stock Cars then held him off along with Lance Borgman, Tyler Phelps and Dallas Dobrovolny.

Dan Nelson of Beatrice picked up his 2nd win in the last 3 weeks in the IMCA Modifieds after surviving a first lap yellow and several charges from Bob Zoubek. Zoubek, Johnny Saathoff, Gary Saathoff and Brandon Johnson rounded out the first 5.

Jeff Watts of Wymore took home the win in Factory Stocks taking the checkers over Jason Jensen, Neal Mittan, Roy Armstrong, and Delmar Wells.

The cruiser team Henry Blakemore/Chris Langdale of Beatrice took the honors in the Cruisers over Jeff Stohs/Dan Holle, Shawn and Shane Slezak, Darren Meinke/Nate Rosentreader and Erin and Jarod Schlabach.
