Accident Claims Life of NST's Fred Brownfield

Fred Brownfield, one of the nation's top short-track promoters, and founder of the new National Sprint Tour died from injuries suffered after being struck by a modifed at Gray's Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA.

News :: National Sprint Tour: "Fred Brownfield got hit by a modified during the Modified Nationals today (June 14th, 2006) at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, WA. He did not make it.

* Ty and Luke his sons
