M/R Racing expands awards programs for IMCA national, regional rookies

WALDO, Wis. (Feb. 26) - Expanding its IMCA award program again this
season, M/R Racing Equipment will recognize the on-track
accomplishments of rookie drivers in four divisions.

National rookies of the year in the Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod
and Southern SportMod divisions, as well as the top rookies in all
five Modified regions and both Stock Car regions receive $100 product
certifi cates, which can be used toward any purchase from the Waldo,
Wis., high performance parts store and shop.

M/R also returns to the national decal program for IMCA Sunoco Stock
Cars. Drivers winning track champion ships and displaying two M/R
decals on their race car receive $50 product certificates applicable
in purchases of $100 or more.

"Generating incentive programs for new drivers has been a focus this
season and M/R Racing Equipment echoes that sentiment with their new
contingency awards for rookies of the year in four divisions," IMCA
Mar keting Director Kevin Yoder said. "Rookie applications are
available online and I encourage anyone eligible to fill the form out
and return it early in 2008."

The deadline for submitting ROY applications to the IMCA home office
is Aug. 1.
