I-80 Alphabet Soup July 2

The Midwest's top touring late models are set to return to I-80 Speedway on
Wednesday, July 2nd for the rescheduled Alphabet Soup Race presented by Your
Area Dodge Dealers. Drivers from the World Dirt Racing League (WDRL),
Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), National Championship Racing
Association (NCRA), Topless Outlaw Racing Association (TORA) and the Spec
Late Model Series (SLMR) will join together for the 50 lap, $5000 to win
event. Local favorites Kyle Berck, Terry Phillips, Joe Kosiski, Leon Zeitner
and John Anderson are expected to be on hand. Also on the card for the night
are the Great Clips IMCA Modifieds and the Ty's Outdoor Power Equipment
Hobby Stocks, both of which are running for weekly points and purse.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with hot laps at 6:15 p.m. and racing slated to
start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for juniors 13 -18 with
ID, $2 for kids 5- 12 and under 5 are free. Coupons good for $5 off adult
admission will be available at Your Area Dodge Dealers by Saturday, and rain
checks from the May 25th event will be honored this night.

One lucky fan will win two garage passes to the September Kansas City Sprint
Cup race courtesy of Your Area Dodge Dealers. Entry forms for the drawing
are located on the back of the Dodge coupon. Entry forms from the May 25th
race were saved by the track.

Camping is free on the I-80 Speedway grounds for those race fans traveling
to area tracks for races the next day.
