Next weekend, August 29th will be the final points race of the year.
With only 4 points separating Jordan Grabouski and Bob Zoubek for the top 2
and Dan Nelson just 16 out of first in the Monster Energy Drink IMCA
Modifieds that is the closest race.
But, the Valentino's IMCA Hobby Stock race is tight also. Defending track
champion Kevin Anderson trails Roy Armstrong by a mere 10 tallies.
In the Auto Trans Matic IMCA Sport Compact race there is only a 12 point
difference between second and fourth places with Amanda Rhiley only 20
points behind Joey Danley for the lead.
Although the Budweiser 360 Sprint championship has been decided, second
through fourth places are separated by only 13 points.
We will be having a Banner Contest to celebrate the racers and the racing at
Eagle. Winners will be crowned in 4 categories for both the adults and the
kids. The categories will be Best Appearing, Most Creative, Most Artistic
and Fan Favorite.
Pit gates open at 4:00, front gates open at 5:30 and racing will begin at
7:00.
