Casey's General Stores Named Title Sponsor of USMTS National Tour

ANKENY, Iowa (March 2) - In continuing their commitment to the competitors
and fans of grassroots motorsports, United States Modified Touring Series
officials announced today that Casey's General Stores will be the title
sponsor of the USMTS National Tour for the 2009 racing season.

"In the midst of what has been referred to as the worst economy in nearly a
century, we are both elated and humbled to have the support from Casey's
General Stores again for 2009," said USMTS president Todd Staley. "This is
especially great news for both the drivers and fans of the USMTS."

In addition to becoming the title sponsor of America's premier dirt Modified
touring series, Casey's General Stores will also continue as the title
sponsor of the Hunt for the USMTS National Championship as well as the
Official Convenience Store of the USMTS.

For the fourth straight season, the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's General
Stores National Championship will crown the USMTS National Champion.
Eighteen events make up The Hunt for 2009, with all single-day events paying
$3,000 to win. The Sept. 18-19 doubleheader at the North Central Speedway in
Brainerd, Minn., will pay $2,000 to win on Friday and $3,000 to win on
Saturday. The 11th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree is set for Sept. 24-26,
with $2,000 going to the winner on Thursday, $4,000 on Friday and $6,000 on
Saturday.

Thanks to the support from Casey's, fans will also be able to pick up
coupons at area Casey's General Stores locations good for $2 off grandstand
admission at most USMTS Casey's General Stores National Tour events.

Casey's General Stores Inc. has always been a supporter of many different
styles of racing thru the years. With the Midwest being such a hot bed of
racing, we feel that it is a natural fit as a way for us to show support to
consumers.

Casey's General Stores and their associated vendors will once again have a
direct impact on USMTS drivers by becoming the primary sponsor of several
USMTS teams during the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's General Stores National
Championship. Last season, Al Hejna, Jason Hughes, Mark Noble, Kelly Shryock
and Zack VanderBeek made up the "Casey's Crew" through appearances by these
drivers at local Casey's locations, as well as related branded spin-off
merchandise such as apparel, autograph cards and more.

Each driver will utilize a branded driving suit during their sponsorship
period and each racecar will be professionally detailed with the latest
vehicle wrap technology to give a bright, multi-colored and stand-out
appearance.

"Over these past few years, we've been fortunate to work with both local
employees and management personnel at Casey's General Stores," said USMTS
Communications & Marketing Director Jeff Nun. "We've witnessed first-hand
their dedication to their customers and vendors, and it's this dedication
that has made Casey's the leader in their industry. It's an honor to be
associated with Casey's, and a huge responsibility for us to produce events
that are worthy of carrying the Casey's General Stores name and logo."

Casey's General Stores (NASDAQ: CASY), owns and operates more than 1,470
convenience stores in nine Midwestern states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa,
Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Casey's
is synonymous with quality self-service gasoline and prepared food items,
such as made from scratch pizza and donuts. Some Casey's stores now offer
submarine sandwiches, a broader range of cold beverages, more cappuccino
flavors and a new coffee bar! Customers will still find groceries, health
and beauty aids, automotive products, and other non-food items. Most Casey's
operate in towns with populations of less than 5,000. It is in these same
communities where the majority of USMTS fans, drivers and their families
reside. Race on in to your local Casey's General Store!
