2nd Annual Racing with the Stars November 1

 
2nd Annual "Racing with the Stars" 12PM-6PM Sunday November 1st 2009 at
Velocity Indoor Karting located in Omaha, Nebraska. Benefiting the Holiday
Horsepower Drive which provides a racing inspired Christmas for all the
patients of the Omaha Childrens Hospital.

Event is 12PM-6PM with the A-feature event at 6PM. $10 for 5 minutes on the
karts against the best Dirt Track Drivers. General admission is $5 DONATION
TO THE HOLIDAY HORSEPOWER DRIVE at the door with all door sales and a
portion of ticket sales going to the Holiday Horsepower Drive.

Special guest Doug Wolfgang will sign autographs and be available for
pictures!

Drivers from any division, any track not on the list, from karts to sprints
are allowed to sell raffle tickets. They are $1 a piece or a book of 6 for
$5 or a book of 12 for $10 driver with the most tickets sold earns the 28th
spot into "Racing with the Stars"

RACE FORMAT:

-28 drivers
- Kart #'s will be randomly drawn for each heat, B, & A Feature race and
time trials
- All 28 will run green-white-checkered time trials
- Time trials ran backwards
- 4 10 lap "heats" with 7 drivers each heat race
- All dirt racers will Lone Ranger Rule (you bring out yellow you are done
that race)
- Heats ran normal
- Drivers are randomly drawn for each heat and lined up by time
trials(inverted)
- Top 2 finishers from each heat move to B-feature
- The 8 drivers in the B-feature are lined up by time trials(inverted) top 4
make A-feature
- B-Feature will be 15 laps normal
- The 4 that make the A-feature will start in rear of field with time trials
inverted!!
- Feature will have minimum 4 dirt track stars against 5 public walk in
racers
- A-Feature will be raced backwards 25 Laps at 6PM
