Shelby County Gearing up for '09

The SCRA would like to invite everyone to choose Shelby County Speedway as
your place to be on Saturday Nights! We appreciate all of our racers, crews,
sponsors and fans. We look forward to the best season yet in 2009.

Number Registration and Reserved Parking

We are gearing up for our third season and would ask you to consider getting
your registrations and parking reservations in early. Those who had reserved
parking last year will have first shot at keeping their spot for the 2009
season. This is not automatic; however, we need to hear from you. These
spots will be held until March 31st and if we have not heard from you --
they will be available to others to reserve. Number Registration will remain
at $35 for all cars with the exception of the Sport Compacts whose number
registration is waived. Reserved parking is $75 for front row with access to
electricity and all others $50.

NOTE Change for 2009: Only open trailers will be allowed to park in the
corners. Signs will be posted and this will be enforced. This is being
implemented to facilitate better corner visibility for both track officials
and the fans in the stands. Enclosed trailers will be asked to park either
in the front row, center row or the backstretch straightaway. Big haulers
will be pitted in the back pit area outside of the racetrack.

IMCA Licenses and Minor Forms

Please take care of applying for your 2009 IMCA License through the IMCA
website prior to the first night of racing. This will save time on opening
night and also will save you money! Drivers under 18 years of age are
required to submit parental consent forms -- please call Virginia at
319-472-2201, ext. 215, or email vlindsey@imca.com , to request necessary
paperwork for minors.

All Admission Prices have remained the same:

Adult Admission: $9.00, Student Admissions: $6.00, Kids 10 and under FREE
with paid adult.
Pit Passes: $22.00 Pit Pass 10 punch cards are available for $200 ($20 each
punch)

Purse has been changed from previous years -- we will not use the percentage
purses for 2009. We appreciate your patience and support during 2007 and
2008!
