Karl Chevrolet returns as title sponsor of IMCA's Northern SportMod division

ANKENY, Iowa (Feb. 24) - Karl Chevrolet returns this season as title sponsor
of IMCA's fastest growing division.

The Ankeny, Iowa, auto dealership will provide a portion of the point fund
to be paid to top 10 drivers in final national standings for the Northern
SportMod class.

"Karl Chevrolet remains one of the premier Chevy dealers in America and your
best choice for new and used cars and trucks," noted IMCA Marketing Director
Kevin Yoder. "However, their service department combined with their GM
Performance Parts line and the crate engine program make them a big reason
why so many IMCA racers are choosing to do business with Karl, both on and
off the track."

The number of licensed drivers in the Northern SportMods surpassed the 250
mark in just the division's fourth season. Twenty-one tracks in six states -
Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin - have returned
contracts thus far to sanction the class in 2009.

Karl Chevrolet will also give a crate motor to a Northern SportMod driver
competing at the 2009 IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals.

Drivers are required to display two Karl Chevrolet decals on their race cars
during the regular point season and at Su per Nationals; they must compete
in at least half the weekly races at an IMCA sanctioned track to be eligible
for the crate motor drawing at Boone.
