Greenwood, NE (May 13, 2008) - Junior race fans at I-80 Speedway who belong
to the Ralston Dairy Queen Kids Club will be treated to a special VIP party
before the races on Sunday, May 18 featuring food, activities and drivers.
Plus, two lucky fans will get to race I-80 Speedway's pit reporter Mark
Wyman in the 2nd Annual Big Wheel Shootout for a chance to win a pair of
tickets to the Alphabet Soup Race presented by Dodge on May 25, 2008.
Race fans also will see the fast paced action of the NASCAR Whelen All
American Series and IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing, with the Dodge
NASCAR Late Models, Great Clips NASCAR Modifieds, Certified Transmission
NASCAR Pro Ams, Ty's Outdoor Power Equipment IMCA Hobby Stocks and IMCA
Sport Compacts.
Racing on Sunday starts at 5:55 p.m., with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. Pit Gates
open at 2:30 p.m. and front gate opens at 4:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $8 for
adults, $5 for juniors 13-18 with ID, $1 for kids 5-12 and kids under 5 are
free.
Next week, on Sunday, May 25th, Your Area Dodge Dealers present the 7th
Annual Alphabet Soup Race featuring the stars and cars of the World Racing
League (WDRL), Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), National
Championship Racing Association (NCRA) and the Topless Outlaw Racing
Association (TORA). Race fans can pick up $5 off adult admission tickets at
