EAGLE, Neb. (Jan. 23) – Eagle Raceway adds another IMCA division to its Saturday night race programs for the second time in as many seasons, with Sport Compacts new to the show starting in 2007.The tuner class of 4-cylinder, front wheel drive cars which averaged 30 entries a night and drew 60 different entries over the course of the 2006 campaign will take the track as Sport Compacts this year.

“Rules for the two classes were basically the same,” promoter Roger Hadan said. “Right now, we’ve got about 80 of these cars registered for this season.”
