ASCS Midwest Series Updates

From Chuck Zitterich, ASCS Midwest Director

Hey gang, spring is here!!!

Opening night for the ASCS Midwest Region is only (25) nights away.

**Important Notes**

ASCS 305 Sprints

ASCS will be sanctioning a 305 CI sprint car division for 2012. I have had a few racers contact me about building an ASCS legal 305 and wanting to compete with the ASCS 360 Midwest region. The answer to that question is "no". The ASCS 305 engine must run the "Racesaver" cylinder head and that cylinder head IS NOT legal for any ASCS 360 event.

ASCS Membership

Any race team that wants to compete for the ASCS Midwest regional point fund needs to get their membership forms in to the ASCS office as soon as possible. (see www.ascsracing.com)

Only ASCS members will receive ASCS Midwest points for the events that they participate in. Only (1) ASCS membership is required to be eligible for the regional point fund. If you are an ASCS National member, or a member of another region, and run the minimum required events in the Midwest region, you will be eligible for the ASCS Midwest regional point fund. Call or e-mail me if you have any questions.
