A driver/owner rules meeting will be held at Legend’s Bar & Grill in NW Omaha the last week of November to throw out helpful ideas and brainstorm the future of racing at Eagle Raceway. Everyone with helpful suggestions is welcome. All other suggestions can be sent through e-mail to slackerinvest@hotmail.com. The meetings are scheduled as follows:
Monday, November 27th: 7:00-8:00 pm Tuners(Hornets) 8:00-9:00 pm IMCA Modifieds
Tuesday, November 28th: 7:00-8:00 pm IMCA Hobby Stocks 8:00-9:00 pm 360 Sprints
Location: Legend’s Bar & Grill, 6910 N. 102nd Circle, Omaha, NE 68122 (I-680 to Irvington exit#6, go North ¼ mile to Ida Street, turn left 1/4 mile to 103rd Street, turn left into Cherry Hills Park.)
The 1st annual Eagle Raceway Christmas Party will be held on Sunday, December 10th in Eagle, NE at the One Eyed Dog Saloon at 2:00-5:00 pm. This will be your opportunity to have the kids meet Speedy Claus at 3:00 pm and purchase 2007 Season Passes at a reduced price. (All kids will receive a gift and picture with Santa) The 2007 tentative schedule of events will be announced at this time. Driver’s will be able to reserve their pit stalls, register car numbers and submit their sponsor list for their free 2007 guest passes. Enjoy great food and fun Christmas Spirit!
The 2006 Eagle Raceway Awards Banquet will be held Saturday, January 6th 2007 at the Double D Ranch, 567 County Road C in Ashland, NE 68003. Happy Hour starts at 5:00 pm and Dinner at 6:30 pm. Awards and entertainment following dinner including a little surprise race competition. Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 in each division along with door prizes to both drivers and friends. This is an Awards Banquet, so please dress accordingly. (No jeans or t-shirts) Tickets are $25 per person and must be ordered by December 29th.
