Those who've been vocal for an ASCS show at Eagle get their wish as the American Sprint Car Series visits Eagle Raceway for the first time with a Midwest vs. North Plains region race on Saturday July 22, 2006. No further details have been released by ASCS or Eagle Raceway at this time.
Given it's on a Saturday there should be a good count of cars with the regular field. However, there are cars not running ASCS motor rules that are legal to run the weekly show at Eagle Raceway (albeit not many). It's unknown what these cars' plans will be for that night and if Eagle will also run for track points that night.
