Two Top Tens for Dover at Devil's Bowl

By Team Dover Media Relations

SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (October 16, 2007) -- Nebraska Sprint Car stand out Jack
Dover traveled to the Lone Star State over the weekend to compete with the
American Sprint Cars on Tour (ASCoT) at the 34th Winternationals at Devil's
Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX. When the weekend was over Jack and Team Dover
left Texas with two solid top ten feature finishes, two heat race wins and
one pole dash victory.

Crew chief Wayne Priddy had the car dialed in, engine builder Jay Eckley had
the power plant singing and Dover made the most of it. On Friday night Jack
picked up a win in the first heat and was high point earner out of the six
heats. Dover then raced to fifth place in the pole dash and seventh in the
preliminary A feature.

Saturday night started with a repeat of Friday with a first heat race win
and again was the high point earner from the heat races. Drawing the number
two spot for the pole dash, Dover got the jump on Wayne Johnson at the start
and led the five lap distance to earn the pole for the Winternationals A
feature. Against the top 360 Sprint Car drivers from across the nation, Jack
took a respectable sixth place finish.

"I'm really happy how the weekend went." Said Dover. "It would have been
nice to win one but I think we opened a lot of eyes. "It was great to have
two good runs and now we will concentrate on preparation for the Short Track
Nationals." Dover continued. "I'd like to thank Wayne (Priddy) and Randy
(Lawrence) for their help over the weekend and my family and sponsors for
all they do."

In the three part ASCS / Wesmar Racing Engine Challenge, Dover finished the
first twelve lap segment in sixteenth place and fourth place in the second
on Friday night. After a seventh place in the third and final segment on
Saturday, Dover finished seventh in the final points tally and was awarded a
set of Brodix cylinder heads.
